D A Y – S I X T E E N

Time is starting to fly by! Can you believe it’s the middle of February already. Valentine’s Day done and dusted, next on the agenda is pancake day! 28th February for anyone unsure. One of my favourite days of the year simply because I love pancakes!! 

Whilst on the subject of Valentines just want to show off my gorgeous flowers, only get them once a year so why the hell not..

Now on to the healthier stuff 

Breakfast 

Nothing new here..

  • Porridge oats
  • Honey
  • Milk 

Lunch 

The other half..

  • Vegetable rice
  • Chargrilled chicken 

Snacks

  • Pea snacks
  • 1x diet whey shake (choc mint)
  • 1x whey shake (salted caramel)

So my new protein turned up this afternoon and I wasted no time trying it out, starting with salted caramel. I warn you don’t smell the powder for this one as it’s gross but it tasted pretty nice, teeny bit sickly. 

Dinner


Tried to keep this fairly light – finding my calories are diminishing much quicker this week on the lower count. 

  • Muffin
  • Scrambled egg
  • Sprinkling of cheese

Got the cookies and cream diet whey shake to try out today and i shall let you know the outcome! 

Finally starting to see some results in the mirror. Still small changes but every little helps and it’s just the motivation I need to keep myself going. Just a gentle reminder (one that I need reminding of myself) that it takes time to overhaul your lifestyle, to accommodate a healthier regime, in order to get to where you want to be. 

Keep at it, it’ll all be worth it!
