Okay so as I mentioned I’ve just started on this 4 week calorie counting mission. Decided I’m going to try and document as much as I can to keep myself motivated and incase anyone else wants to take some inspiration..
Yesterday went off without a hitch.
- Porridge oats
Takes all of 2 mins in the microwave, chuck the berries on top and done. I love porridge and I tend to have it most mornings so it being part of my nutrition plan is perfect for me.
I accidentally forgot to take a pic of this (I warned you before it is not my strong point!) but it consisted of
- Peas, sweet corn, broccoli
- Sliced chicken breast
- Vegetable rice
The rice is quite carbilicious but as I knew I had a spin class last night I knew I would need the energy and it would be burnt off anyway!
Also had a mueller light cranberry and raspberry yoghurt (I’m greedy)
- 2 scoops
Protein is the hardest thing for me to get into my diet – I live in a vegetarian household! (No quorn or fish) although I’m not one myself I’m not used to incorporating it into my meals in such large amounts (120g per day) so this shake offers me 35g a go and actually tastes really nice! Think aero mint chocolate..
- Omelette with spinach, mushroom, peppers
- Peppered broccoli
- Fish cake
So that’s day one, only another 27 days to go..
